INTRODUCTION

Not Another Religious Book

This is not a book about religion. It is not another attempt to make you fit into a label or a system.
This book is about a Person. A real life that walked on real ground, felt real pain, made real decisions,
and changed history in a way that no influencer, leader, or brand will ever be able to repeat.

His name is Jesus. Many talk about Him, some use His name to sell things, others try to hide Him behind traditions.
Here, we are going to look at Him the way the Bible shows Him, as a man who listened to the Father,
followed every divine intuition with courage, and refused to live a safe and comfortable life.

Inside FURI, we speak a lot about courage, freedom, and resilience. We speak about following your intuitions,
listening to the quiet voice inside you when everything outside is screaming the opposite.
Jesus is not just a part of this concept. He is the reason this concept exists.

When you read the pages ahead, do not think of Jesus as a distant religious figure.
Think of Him as the greatest influencer you will ever know.
Not because He chased attention, but because He walked with such clarity of purpose
that attention simply could not ignore Him.

My goal is simple. I want you to see how Jesus made decisions. How He handled pressure.
How He faced fear. How He responded to injustice. How He spoke to the Father.
How He dealt with friends, enemies, crowds, and loneliness.

I want you to understand that His story collides with your story in very practical ways,
in your daily life, your money, your relationships, your studies, and your future.
Jesus is not just the Savior of your soul, He is the clearest voice you can follow in a noisy world.

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” (John 10:27)

If you are tired of living on autopilot, tired of following trends that disappear after a few weeks,
tired of making choices based only on fear and pressure, this book is for you.
It is an invitation to walk with Jesus, not as theory but as a daily influence over your decisions.

Influence That Starts In Silence

Most influencers today are measured by numbers, likes, views, and followers.
Jesus began His influence in a very different place.
He began in silence, in deserts, in early mornings while everyone else was still asleep.

Before the miracles, before the crowds, before the noise, there was a pattern.
Jesus withdrew to listen. He stepped away from people to stay close to the Father.
His public influence was simply the result of a private relationship.

This is one of the deepest lessons for anyone who is tired of chasing approval.
Real influence does not start when people see you. It starts when God sees you listening.
It starts when you dare to become honest with Him and with yourself.

In the FURI concept, we often say that life is not about guarantees or perfect outcomes.
It is about the depth of the experiences that shape who you become.
Jesus embraced this reality in the most radical way.
He chose obedience over comfort, purpose over applause, the cross over an easy path.

As you move through these chapters, I want you to imagine Jesus walking beside you,
not only in the “holy” moments, but in your long shifts at work, your commutes, your exams,
your late nights when anxiety tries to control your thoughts.

He is not here to give you a list of rules. He is here to teach you how to live awake.
How to listen. How to move with clarity when everyone else is confused.
How to make decisions that may not make sense to the crowd, but make perfect sense to Heaven.

This is influence at its highest level. Not manipulation, not control,
but the kind of influence that invites you to a higher way of living.

CHAPTER 1

The Calling

Every story of influence begins with a moment of calling.
A moment when something inside you wakes up and refuses to go back to sleep.
With Jesus, this calling did not start when He became famous.
It started long before people knew His name.

The Bible shows Jesus as a child who already carried questions and awareness.
At twelve years old He was in the temple, listening and asking,
surprising religious leaders with the depth of His understanding.
Yet even then, He returned home and waited.

Waiting is one of the hardest parts of any calling.
We feel something burning inside us, but the doors do not open yet.
Jesus lived in that hidden place for years, working, walking,
watching people, feeling the weight of a world that needed redemption.

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” (Luke 2:52)

Before the public call, there was growth. Quiet growth.
Internal formation. Daily obedience in ordinary things.
This is how God prepares anyone who will carry real influence.
He shapes the person long before He reveals the mission.

Maybe you are in that stage right now. You sense that God has something for you,
but all you see is routine, bills, responsibilities, and silence.
This does not mean God forgot you. It means He is forming you.

The calling of Jesus reminds us that influence is not about speed.
It is about depth. The deeper the roots, the stronger the tree when the wind comes.
